POSTPARTUM & MOTHERHOOD THERAPY IN NEW CANAAN, CT

You love your kids. And you've completely lost yourself.

What does losing yourself in motherhood actually feel like?

Like you're doing everything right and still feel empty. Like you love your children more than anything and also desperately miss who you used to be. Like everyone around you seems to be handling it and you're the only one falling apart behind closed doors.

Motherhood is beautiful and brutal and nobody talks honestly about the brutal part. The exhaustion that goes bone deep. The identity that shifted without your permission. The version of yourself you're not sure you can find again.

  • The postpartum anxiety or depression no one warned you about

  • The loss of identity that comes with becoming a mom

  • The pressure to be grateful when you're actually drowning

  • The mom rage, the guilt, the "what is wrong with me"

  • The loneliness of feeling invisible inside your own life

  • Motherhood at any stage — newborn to grown kids

You are more than a mom. Let's find her again.

How therapy works

Motherhood is hard enough. Therapy shouldn't be.

We'll start with a free 15-minute consultation where you can share what's bringing you in and get a feel for whether we're the right fit. Babies are always welcome in person — this is a judgment-free space for you and for them.

Sessions are 50 minutes — in person in New Canaan, CT, or virtually across New York and Connecticut. Virtual sessions are especially popular for moms — no commute, no childcare needed, no getting out of the house. We'll work at your pace toward what actually matters to you.

Sessions are $250. Many clients use out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement — I provide a superbill after each session to make that simple.

Therapy for motherhood can help you...

  • Reconnect with who you are outside of being a mom

  • Process the postpartum anxiety or depression you've been pushing through

  • Stop performing "fine" when you're not

  • Find tools for the rage, the guilt, the overwhelm

  • Feel present with your kids instead of just surviving the day

  • Fall in love with yourself again — at any stage of motherhood
