PREGNANCY & INFANT LOSS THERAPY IN NEW CANAAN, CT

No 'at least it was early.' No 'at least you can get pregnant.' Just space for your grief, exactly as it is.

What does this kind of grief actually feel like?

Isolating. Invisible. Made harder by everyone around you who didn't know what to say — or said the wrong thing. Pregnancy and infant loss is one of the most minimized griefs there is. The world moves on quickly. You're expected to as well.

But the grief doesn't go away just because no one is talking about it anymore. The due date still comes. The nursery is still there. The version of your life you were building is still missing.

  • The grief of a loss others didn't acknowledge as real

  • The isolation of carrying something most people around you don't understand

  • The anger, the guilt, the "what ifs"

  • The identity of being a mother to a baby no one else got to meet

  • The fear of trying again — or not knowing if you can

Your grief is real. And it deserves real support.

How therapy works

Grief this deep deserves more than time.

We'll start with a free 15-minute consultation where you can share where you are and get a feel for whether we're the right fit. There's no pressure to have the words yet — you don't need to explain yourself perfectly to start.

From there, sessions are 50 minutes — in person in New Canaan, CT, or virtually across New York and Connecticut. We'll move at your pace. Some sessions will be heavy. Some will surprise you. All of them will honor what you've been through.

Sessions are $250. Many clients use out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement — I provide a superbill after each session to make that simple.
