Meet the Team

Suzanne Esposito, LCSW

Founder & Clinical Director

Suzanne has spent more than a decade working with children, teens and adults, including years in inpatient mental health and leadership of child and adolescent programs. She earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and has advanced training in DBT, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), and perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.

Suzanne has particular expertise working with children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, big emotions and behavioral or emotional changes. With younger children, she incorporates play-based approaches that give kids a developmentally appropriate way to communicate, process emotions and build new skills. Her work with children also includes parents when helpful, because what happens outside the therapy room matters, too.

She also specializes in working with women through fertility challenges, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum and motherhood.

Warm, direct and collaborative, Suzanne brings significant clinical experience to her work without making therapy feel clinical. As Founder and Clinical Director, she brings that same standard of care to the therapists she selects and supports at Lark.

Samantha Rathe, LMSW

Therapist

Samantha works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, school and career pressure, and the uncertainty that can come with figuring out who you are and what comes next. She also works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns and major life transitions.

She earned her Master of Social Work from New York University and brings experience from both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.

Samantha's style is warm, collaborative and nonjudgmental. She creates a space where clients can talk openly without feeling analyzed or pressured to have everything figured out. Her work is rooted in traditional talk therapy, with elements of CBT and DBT incorporated when practical skills can help clients better understand and manage what they're experiencing.

She especially enjoys helping teens and young adults better understand themselves, navigate complicated relationships and build confidence in handling difficult emotions and transitions.
